About Us
Social Bridge USA works with people who came in USA recently to stay here permanently. Our focus mainly on South Asian migrants specially from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc. It’s a Social welfare Commercial Organization started its journey since 2022. Our activity mainly as a facilitator to new comers for finding jobs, arranging accommodation, child education, mixing with society, upholding local culture, marriage consultation, old age supports, disability supports, ensuring community engagements, access to Government benefits etc. We have a number of volunteers, part-time workers, cultural activists and some full-time officials. We earned good reputation on our activities by this time. Many social leaders are our well-wishers. More than 30,000 people are connected with us. We hope with our programs we can be successful to contribute for South Asian migrants in USA immensely.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and community minded Education and Public Engagement Specialist to join our team. In this role, selected person will serve as the primary liaison among our organization, local schools, cultural institutions, and general public. The ideal candidate should be excellent communicator who thrives on tuning complex concepts into engaging stories for diverse audiences.
Eligibility Location Preferential Notice
- Target Talent Pool: Candidates based on NYC metropolitan area or living in South Asia are highly preferred for this roll.
- Work Arrangement: For Candidates based in NYC, a hybrid schedule applies. For candidates based in South Asia, remote work arrangements or relocation sponsorship details will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate educational curricula and public engagement programs.
- Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community centers, and civic groups to expand our audience base.
- Public Programming: Coordinate and host public events, panel discussions, and interactive tours.
- Impact Evaluation: Track participation metrics, analyze attendee feedback, and implement strategies to improve community engagement.
Qualification Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree in Social Science, Education, Communications or related fields (Masters preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement, public programming, or educational outreach.
- Skills: Excellent public speaking abilities, strong curricula management skills, and proficiency with social virtual platforms.
Salary& Benefits
- Saray Range: $60,000-$70,000 per year (depending on experience).
